So, I recently switched from DPS to Tank to help my guild out in gvg. For the most part this works fine – I have several DPS friends so it makes raids and dungeons nice and easy. My build is strictly tank – 123/559/123.

However, I can barely win a single match in PvP. Whether I auto or Manual the match, I just can’t do it. Right now I’m running Bodobom, Astaroth and Borlan for my familiars.

So what I’d like to know is, how do you other tanks do it in PvP? What are some familiars to shoot for? Are there any other tips and tricks to making this work? I dread using my PvP tickets right now because it’s largely a futile effort. Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: Thanks for the advice everyone! The advice to remove equipment to face lower level players has significantly increased my winrate. Sucks that I have to do that, but until I can farm a Wemmbo and/or Korgz I at least have a viable strategy to get coins. Thanks again!
