I'm 46, bi, but present as straight to most of my friends and coworkers. Close friends know I'm bi. Family knows I'm bi but tends to ignore it. My kids and my girlfriend both know that I'm bi.
For some reason I'm feeling a pull to come out publicly on FB. Not sure why. Partially because I want to live the most authentic version of my life. Partially because I know there are other people that are closeted, and I want to give them examples of people coming out to help them feel more comfortable.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Anyone have any good reasons NOT to post it? Have I simply lost my mind on a snow day and I should just go sleep it off?
