Existing with religious family during the holidays
Post Body

I’m 31 and married to a wonderful accepting wife. During the holidays I feel obligated to visit family, unfortunately they are extremely religious and say the most offensive things. A lot of it is super ironic such as today, the statement was made that lgbt people are confused and anything confusing isn’t from Jesus…the only thing confusing about me being bi is them telling me my whole life gay people are the same as pedos and they they will burn in hell while at the same time having these attractions… I just get really sad around them and I’m not sure how to move forward. I’ve been out for 5 months so I really feel it’s unfair to cut them out of my life when they don’t even know I’m bi. But honestly it’s pointless to tell them. Bleh.
