One thing I noticed about myself recently as i was speaking with my wife, is that I am capable of sex without romance. I made the mistake of having an affair (with a woman) about 5 years ago, and my wife and I are still working through this period of our life. My wife has no interest in people sexually outside of a committed relationship, whereby for me, I can separate sex from romance pretty easily. I have recommitted to monogamy now, of course, but I find that this is more in respect to my wife and our relationship, and not because this is how I am naturally wired. How common is that for all of you here? Maybe this is more of a woman vs. man thing as well, but I also wonder if this ability to separate sex from romance is easier for Bi guys as well.
