In my group of friends, a few of us are what you would call heteroromantic. 4 of us, 3 women and me. We are all straight but we have tried gay sex and have enjoyed it. When any of my 3 woman friends say "I wouldn't date a woman but I had sex with a few and it was fun" everyone immediately understand them and give to that fact no more importance than they give it. But if I say "I wouldn't date a man but I had sex with a few and it was fun" people think I need to come out more publicly and more often, I need to disclose this not later than on a first date, etc. Isn't this kind of unfair? having had a bit of gay experience is not big deal for me, why this need if blow it out of proportion because I'm a man? And nobody would if it were a woman?
