I ordered one pair in size 37 (brown) and a pair in 38 (black). Would appreciate some advice for which pair to take!

Here are the problems I seem to be having with both sizes. I really wish there was a 37.5 😅.

Size 37: was recommended this when I tried it on in store and it seems to be a snug and a just nice fit, but my fourth toe touches the edge of the shoe and I feel it's slightly tight / I can feel a little of the edge of the shoe on the sides unless I position my feet perfectly.

Size 38: this is my regular size I order for most shoes and what Birkenstock's website fit guide recommended as well. For this pair though, I'm worried the gap at the front may be too big. I feel like my big toe is slightly over the spot to position it when my heel is in the correct position.
