I'm so glad I found this Reddit group. Every interaction has been so nice!
Anyhow, background: My first pair of Birks was Arizona (EU 45 Reg) about 30 years ago (when I was 18). Loved this brand ever since!
About 3 years ago I began to get more adventurous with other style. I said screw all that "is this too feminine" or "are these meant only for women." I just went with I thought looked good. I bought a pair of Mayari (EU 45 Reg) and they fit great.
So then I ventured over to the Madrid (currently my fav style - and men are not afraid to wear this in Europe - I'm in US and we are lagging a bit) and opted for EU 46 on both, as I wanted a more loose sort of flip-flop fit and feel. I personally love the way these feel and fit. But I want to know what the panel here thinks.
Too big? Just right? Go with what feels right?
