Is it worth asking my (most likely) BP friend to go to therapy if he won’t see a doctor?
Post Body

Will the therapy do anything without the help of meds and doctors?

Either way, it’s so hard seeing someone you love go through this. It sucks man

It could just be him denying it as well

He’s seen a psychiatrist before and in his words “they said I showed signs of BP but they never truly diagnosed me.” I might take that with a grain of salt, but it’s not like he’s never seen mental specialists

He’s seen doctors, psychiatrists, and therapists before, but nothing stuck. He hates all doctors because they think they just want to make money off people suffering and they just want to drug him into submission. And therapists just self-enable you to be selfish by telling you that the world is wrong, you’re always right. He’s definitely aware that he’s different, but he thinks that it’s the rest of the world that has something wrong with them. He’s definitely delusional at times as well. He’s also got a lot of trauma from other things in his life that I think therapy could improve. This disease sucks so much.
