My husband had a manic psychosis that got him admitted for 7 weeks in an in-patient clinic in august. It’s been though, but these last few weeks i see a lot of improvement. Especially now that he’s also on an anti depressant (he’s being closely monitored). He’s joking more, being more unpredictable (awesome for autistic me haha), finding himself. I can finally see some light again.
The last thing that reminds us on a daily basis is the fact that in this country you cannot drive for half a year after a psychosis. In 5,3 weeks (yes he has a timer) he can drive a car again. I can’t wait.
In the mean time, we are going to friends today. Superfun. By car? 1 hour. By train? 2,5… ah well. I have a good book :).
Ha! This is excellent news to hear. I am so happy for you and your husband. You have been through so much and it's about time you have some happiness.
Be well
