Mine's great to talk to when I'm depressed. She often sees the first signs of me going too far up. She does an amazing job of tracking my moods. However, when I'm stable, we don't have anything at all to talk about. I keep waiting for her to take the lead and help me work on things, but she's just like, wow. You're doing great! Keep it up! These sessions usually end early because there's just not any conversation happening, but I do pay a full co-pay just for a "good job!".
She wants to see me every week. My psychiatrist wants me in therapy, so I can't quit. I really think she helps me a lot when I'm down or up but it just seems like a waste in the middle. I'd suggest ideas to her but I don't even know what I should be trying to work on right now. What can I do to make the most out of those stable sessions?
