Experience with Latuda and lithium combo?

I recently (today) saw a new psychiatrist. I have been taking Lamictal and Abilify for some time now, and he says that Abilify isn't helping with my depressive symptoms enough and is prescribing Latuda.
He also said in the spring when I am more mania-prone, he would like me to switch from Lamictal to lithium. Does anyone have experience with this particular combo and have any advice to share?
Note: I am not asking for official medical advice, just experiences from my fellow redditors!
