I avoided doctors and hospitals as much as possible during covid. I have all these nagging issues that I really should see my pdoc or a specialist about...but every single issue I'm having needs a referral and the last time I tried to contact my pdoc's office, I was on hold for over 7 minutes...at a tiny office that has like 3 doctors in it.
I have hemorrhoids. My right shoulder hurts randomly. My hands at tremoring more than usual. My knees always feel like they're on the verge of dislocating. But I just don't care. I'd rather put up with the pain than deal with the US healthcare system.
