Most Significant Obesity Drug Catalysts for rest of the year.

Post Body

We are going to have an action packed rest of the year. Here are the main catalysts I am watching:

VKTX: Biggest Catalyst Obesity Week (October). This is when we will find out the update of the dosage studies for Phase 1-VK2735 (their Oral Weight Loss Drug). This will tell us what dosage is most effective and set up a potential Phase 2 trial. Here we could also be looking at an acquisition.

AMGN: Biggest Catalyst (Q4). This is the big update for Maritide where the company has already spent billions. The big deal here is this is a Weight Loss Drug that could make it so one would only have to inject once a month. In addition, muscle mass loss is said to be less. This is a significant binary catalyst that will move the stock.

NVO: Biggest Catalysts (Q4/Q1). They have 2 oral drugs with readouts coming--the oral wegovy and the combination drug. It is unclear when exactly these readouts will come but they are very important to the company.

I do not hold positions yet but will start to roll into various share and option positions in the Fall for all three. What one are you most bullish on and why? Which do you think will be most significant in terms of moving the stock? Looking forward to a good discussion.
