Is it fine to play Bioshock on my Switch instead of a PC?

I love my Switch but also enjoy PC gaming and understand that it's better than console gaming in a bunch of ways.
I've never really played any FPS games but I want to play one to completion so I've decided to give Bioshock a try.
I've just preferred sitting on my couch lately to game instead of at my computer. However, I've seen a bunch if PC folks claiming Bioshock and any FPS arent worth playing on consoles.
Do people here agree with that or would you say I'm good to go for it on my beloved Nintendo?
