I just beat bioshock remastered with no troubles at all but 2 is kicking my ass to the point the game isnt fun for me atm. Im constantly out of most of most ammo and on the brink of death. Splicers are plentiful and hit like a truck, especially the ones with guns. When i do get money buy ammo which helps slightly but i quickly run out then im back my drill which does not help me much, It hits hard but i generally get torn to shreads before i can even make it to a splicer and start bashing

Dont even get me started on the little sister defence segments, i tried for an hour on one and still couldnt beat it, i would keep dying before she could finish her harvesting.

Is the game supposed to be hard to the point of dying every few minutes? (Im playing on medium btw)
