Hi all - I've got experience working in research (2 yr fellowship in biomedical engineering), lab automation (2 years), as a startup entrepreneur (2 yrs cofounder of a biotech, 2 years cofounder of an LED), and 7 years running my own "freelance" web development firm. Plus a 4 year degree in biomedical engineering.
I started a few months ago as a biomedical equipment technician in a hospital in an effort to return to the biomed (or possibly biotech) fields. I've gotten my hands on a handful of different medical equipment, both around the hospital and in the OR.
What should I look at to find a lucrative role in sales? Any devices in particular? Or specific companies? Any tips on leveraging my experience as a startup entrepreneur / business owner?
Lastly - any thoughts on biotech sales instead of medical devices?
