Hii I’ve(22f) been a long time lurker here and love all the helpful info posted in this community! Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s added to it and made this place what it is :)

Anyway I started yaz birth control a couple months ago and I’m experiencing extreme exhaustion. Like last night I slept 8 hours, my sweet boyfriend had to basically drag me out of bed, drank caffeinated tea in the morning, then took a 5 hour nap mid day, and could still easily fall asleep right now and wake up at a normal time. I don’t really want to switch to another birth control at the moment but I’d like to improve my energy levels and productivity despite this.

Disclaimer- I will talk to my doctor in a couple weeks when she’s available but in the mean time I’m wondering if anyone here has ideas? Not necessarily birth control related, but more so staying awake and general productivity? What’s worked for you?

I’ve learned recently that my vitamin D deficiency could also in part be causing fatigue so I’m working on that too- taking 5000 vit D per day with K2

Edit- I keep forgetting my username lol, for context, I used to have insomnia a few years ago. Definitely not anymore
