I take some regular supplements daily, but then also have these two stacks that I take "as needed". I take them 3-4x/week each on average, sometimes on the same day, often on work days, and these days often align with anabolic/weight training days (not cardio, which is done at other times of the week).
Both stacks get taken on an empty stomach - with no issues. Energizing would usually be before 8am if I know I'm going to have a long/difficult day, and the Calming one before dinner around 6pm if I fear I wont be able to unwind, or when good sleep is important for the next day.
Most items from r/NootropicsDepot, tried to post it there but it didnt take (not sure why).
What do you think? Are there redundant areas, or missing areas? Doses etc? Should any of these be taken daily and not cycled like that?
Thanks
Energizing stack:
- 4’-DMA-7,8-DHF (10mg)
- ALCAR (500mg)
- Alpha GPC (300mg)
- C3G (125mg)
- Panamax Ginseng (450mg)
- Isoliquiritigenin (25mg sublingual)
- L-Tyrosine (500mg)
- Rhodiola Rosea 3% Rosavins (500mg)
- SAMe (400mg)
- Tongkat Ali 10% (100mg)
- Uridine Monophosphate (250mg)
My views on this so far: Gives me great energy starting 2 hours in, and lasting for another 4 hours. I still feel pretty wired early in the evening, but it hasn't harmed my sleep.
Calming stack:
- Shoden Ashwagandha (120mg)
- CO2 Coriander (250mg)
- Magnolia Bark (200mg)
- Phosphatidyl Serine (150mg)
- Theanine (200mg)
My views on this so far: Love the smell of the Coriander, and something in this stack (or maybe the combination) really calms me down. My Deep REM sleep has literally been 40-50% of my nights sleep since starting this (up from 30%). Do sometimes feel a bit sluggish the next morning for a couple of hours.
