Have to be careful with my BP and have some Bromantane to try. Planning on ~15mg sublingual with no caffeine that day and monitor my BP just to be on the safe side and increase future dosage probably to no more than 25mg or so daily if no issues.
Literature says it can increase BP "slightly" and othewise "may interact with blood pressure medications, such as beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers" but doesn't indicate HOW it may interact with them.
I'm assuming it reduces their effectiveness but it's not clear. Would like to learn more about the actual etiology of how this "interaction" occurs. Anyone have a clue?
TIA!
