Greetings, folks. I'm a newcomer here and I'd appreciate input and I think it'd be fun to have your opinions and personal experiences.
So, my current stack is as follows :
Vitamin D3, 50 000 Iu
Vitamin K2, 500 mcg (100 :10 000 ratio with D3, to prevent hypercalcemia)
Magnesium Glycinate 800 mg, for D3 and K2 resorption
Horny Goat Weed
Zinc Picolinate
Vitamin C
Citruline Mallate (I did run out tho, waiting on a new shipment)
Beet Root Powder
Maca
Cialis 20 mg (I don't have ED, and yes, it is a huge dose to take daily but I'm experimenting on something)
I have also tried the following in the past, but discontinued due to personal preference and overall, seeing better results from the aforementioned ones :
Cistanche
Tongkat Ali
Fadoggia
L-Theanine (might reinclude)
Ashwagandha
Going forward, I'm considering reincluding Fadoggia, Tongkat Ali and Cistanche, but only AFTER doing a full spectrum test of my free T, liver enzymes, LH etc.
I should also mention, I am a male, in my mid 20s, I'm active and lift a high volume on a weekly basis.
If you have recommendations for bloodwork and what tests to do, I'd also appreciate that. I do remember doing a serum testosterone test a while back (although not a free T test SHBG, I was uninformed of the difference at the time) and the lab work came back with a scale ranging from 0.32-2.25 and my values were at 3.5. I posted it on some other subs and people thought I was bullshitting, I really don't know if it's good or bad or even correct for that matter, so I'll be doing a new blood test soon. I don't want to discontinue any of my stacked supplements to establish a baseline blood test because I don't really see the value in knowing my "true, normal, natural" testosterone cause I feel great now.
My future plans :
Boron
Vitamin A high dose, with Beta-Carotene and likely a B Complex considering I might try Minoxidil and microneedling for hairline regrowth and beard growth boosting and apparently B Complex helps with the flaking and whatnot.
I read collagen peptides help against Minoxidil symptoms too but it'd be detrimental using any type of dietary collagen for me right now, as it does not coincide with another aspect of my wellbeing I am currently working on and that would likely be TMI if I went into further detail on.
I'm considering DHEA, I know it's banned by WADA, but c'mon...it's WADA. And besides, it is so easy to acquire (not a valid reason, I know)
I'm also considering Enclomiphene, which is already bordering anabolics buuuuuut to be fair it's an ´endogenous´ T boosting modulator.
I know my future plans already go into a grey zone and are more akin to overdoing it rather than maximising health, but I'm being honest when I say I will never push a certain aspect of my health to be "better" if some other aspect of my wellbeing is negatively affected by it, hence the upcoming blood tests.
Nor is it a definitive decision to go forward with these, I'm still deciding.
Changes I've noticed so far : Improved energy, better sleep patterns, my beard (it's an astounding change considering it looked so patchy this time last year), vascularity, hunger suppression during dieting phases, overall mood and libido.
The libido part can even be a detriment sometimes as it can draw my attention , to the point where I'm losing chunks of my daily time daydreaming and I know what the most simple solution would be : "Just have intimacy with someone, output that energy" but it doesn't coincide with my current moral and relationship status as I am single and don't do hookups. So I'd appreciate advice on any lifestyle or supplement applications that might help mitigate that urge.
I'd appreciate any and all input.
I am aware some, if not most of my post sounds like it was written by Patrick Bateman but bear with me.
I was in a very bad headspace last year and I looked and felt like crap and I can honestly say self-improvement, both physical and mental, has saved my life.
And I love to see communities of people striving to be more than meets the eye. Much obliged in advance and have a nice day :).
