Hello r/Biohackers, I figured I'd ask this here since y'all are the foremost subreddit for this kind of thing.

I have terrible motivation problems where I just can't get myself to do things, even to do things I really WANT to do, like work on projects or even play certain video games. I have an especially hard time getting myself to start anything to do with art. I feel like some of it is rooted in fear of failure or fear of having to learn new things? I am pretty insecure about my art skills, and failing to create a piece that looks right really messes with me.

The strangest part is that I can pretty easily do things like change my bed, go to the gym, cook food, etc. Routine chores that don't take long are not big asks, but anything I know will take up a lot of time is. Ironically, this causes me to waste my time doing nothing, sitting there trying to convince myself to be productive while wasting my day. I can hardly ever get myself to go to sleep, either, since I know how much time sleeping wastes.

My question is: are there any nootropics, supplements, or other substances that would help with this? Like just something to turn off my subconscious mind? Or any other way that might help my issue? I've been struggling with this my whole life and I'm so ready to be free.
