hello,

so in the process of researching how to heal my laundry list of symptoms i have begun supplementation for my deficiencies, neurological symptoms and hair loss. based on your own personal routines, do you think I am missing anything? i am a 25 year old woman, healthy weight. I am really motivated to heal myself and one day be able to help others with all that I am learning. i never want to feel this shitty again.

Daily:

  • 2x weekly vitamin B12 shots (started yesterday) --> hoping to go from 275 to >900
  • vitamin d3 (nature's bounty 5000 IU) for vitamin D deficiency
  • hair vitamins "sugarbearPRO" (6000 mcg biotin, 2.4 mcg B12, 1.4 mcg B1) --> i rotate through brands like hims&hers etc
  • pumpkin seed oil / pumpkin seeds for hair loss
  • zinc 50 mg
  • women's probiotic (physician's choice 50 billion CFU)
  • currently taking ferrous gluconate (324 mg) and vit C (500 mg) a few times a week for low ferritin, but my iron is already high. low ferritin / high iron (?)
  • Spironolactone for accelerated hair loss and my high androstenedione (100 mg per day)

currently holding off on: 1.25 mg minoxidil due to cardiac symptoms, bloat, and 10 lbs water weight gain within days of use few weeks ago.

Food diary:

I am eating 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day, fluctuating on exercise days. In general, i have an absorption issue because I eat very healthy and clean due to IBS already. I am 5'9 and 140 lbs.

  • I start each morning with coffee, Chobani Greek yogurt and fruit, or fruit and peanut butter
  • lunch i will incorporate fats such as Cashews/Walnuts, veggies and some sort of bowl/salad/sandwich
  • Dinners i eat multiple vegetable servings (such as spinach, bok choy, sweet potatoes, asparagus, carrots, peppers) along with meat
  • In general: i eat multiple servings of fruit and vegetables per day, i eat chicken and red meat multiple times per week, i also eat beans
  • junk food: usually Goldfish, or Utz chips or popcorn with occasional ice cream
  • increasing the amount of steak and eggs i eat because of B12 issue

does anyone else incorporate specific supplements or foods that have helped you? thank you
