I’ve had a rough 4 months and undergone 2 x Microdiscectomy surgeries back to back. I’m 5 weeks out and doing okay but have some temporary (I hope) nerve damage caused me to be unable to use my calf but now strength is slowly returning ✨ I also have some muscle atrophy and ALOT of aches and pains that I’m recovering from.
I used to be super active, hiking, lifting weights, cycling, running but I’ve been pretty sedentary for the last 10months when dealing with it. So excited to get back to even walking long distances again 🤞🏼
I’m currently taking • Lions mane • Omega 3 • Vitamin D • Freesoul Women’s Multivitamin • B12 injection (20/08)
Unfortunately still on medications as well but would love to get off them ASAP. I’m cutting down each week where my pain allows. • Cocodamol (paracetamol/codine) • Pregabalin (Lyrica) • Baclofen (muscle relaxer) • Naproxen (anti inflammatory)
Any advice anyone has about healing, particularly nerves and muscle, I’d really appreciate 🙏🏼
