What is the optimal pressure (how many ATA) a healthy person should get from HBOT sessions for health benefits?

Post Body

Hi,

I'm traveling in a country that offers affordable HBOT sessions. So I'm debating between doing a 20 sessions of 60 minute package (for about $38 per session) and 40 sessions of 60 minutes package (for about $36 per session). Even though 40 sessions is better, I might just do 20 sessions because it's time consuming to commute to the hospital for 40 days.

The nurse explains that I could discuss with the doctor to request the amount of pressure that I prefer. As long as it's not dangerous, the doctor would allow it. Their hard shell machine could do from 1.3 ATA to 4 ATA. Should I start from 1.3 ATA the first day, then step up to 1.5 ATA and stay there for a week, then step up further (I pulled this out of thin air)? What is the optimal protocol? Please share your thoughts/experiences. Thank you.
