If I take hyaluronic acid for years, will my body forget how to make it on its own?

I'm thinking of taking hyaluronic acid daily for better skin looks and the knee pain. But if I take for a prolonged period of time will my body forget how to produce it on its own? This is something I would want to avoid and better not take it if that's the case. Maybe better focus on hyaluronic acid precursors
