Post surgery effects of oxygen, anaesthetic or IV drip?

Post Body
So I recently had surgery under general anaesthetic, and when I woke up my veins were POPPING.
Like biceps, forearms, delts, quads, the veins were thicker and real dark blue. My obvious thought was the oxygen provided through surgery caused this. But is it that? Or could it be the IV drip or the anaesthetic itself?
Whatever it was, it was fucking good but only lasted a day 😂
