NAC + Collagen = normal, healthy nails

Im a lifelong cuticle biter AND I've always had extremely paper thin nails. My mom has been the same, we just have thinner nails. I wish I had before pics but also maybe for the better-- my nails constantly looked nasty. All bitten up and bleeding, nails broken and short.

About 6 months ago I started taking NAC to see if it would help with the compulsive biting. It seriously works. I am not super consistent about taking it but can tell when it 'wears off' and is out of my system because I start chewing my lips/fingers again. I take a dose and I stop. nothing, and I mean nothing, has been effective before for this.

I also started taking vital proteins collagen supplements about 4 months ago. I figured I'd give it a shot-- try for 3 months maybe and if I dont see a difference, stop buying it. This is the longest I've been able to grow my nails by far, in my entire life, at 34.

Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone else. I'm so proud of my normal, healthy nails! I was skeptical about both but am a solid believer, now.
