Looking to get back into taking collagen supplements again. Most supplements contain types 1 and 3.
I came across a supplement that looked amazing and has all 6 collagen types 1-6. Type 4 is supposed to be involved in the deeper layers of skin.
When looking into it, I found a paper that found type 4 collagen to cause pancreatic cancer cells to grow as it can help shut down the cell death process. Kinda nervous to take this now. Types 1 and 3 are probably more than enough but having a supplement cover all types, and coming from multiple animal sources seemed like good quality to me.
Does anyone know any information?
