Should I consider enclomiphene therapy?
Post Body

I'm 24M, about 225lbs 5'8. I've been feeling especially low for about the past year or so, though some of my symptoms have been with me as long as I can remember. My symptoms include:

  • Upper back aches
  • Fatigue
  • Low motivation (lifelong)
  • Lack of Focus (At work and home, lifelong)
  • Decreased sexual sensation/pleasure
  • Abdominal Obesity (The majority of my excess fat seems to be in the stomach area, my legs and arms are pretty slim and my stomach is very squishy. Though I'd say I'm overweight enough to be more than just skinny fat). Very difficult (not impossible) to lose fat even when eating 1200-1500 calories a day. At my most active and strictest diet, I was still not able to drop to under 200 lbs. Heaviest was 252 lb. (lifelong)
  • Anxiety and neuroticism.
  • Difficulty building muscle and long recovery period after workouts.

For a while, I was also experiencing frequent hot flashes, though these have been less common in the last month or two than earlier in the year. My urologist gave me a gynecomastia diagnosis and noted a minor amount of breast tissue had developed that could be addressed with surgery at a later point.

I had blood work done in January and March, tests were ordered by different doctors which is why different ones were ordered, but they were done by the same testing provider so ranges are the same.

January:

Total T: 461 ng/dL (Reference Range 250 - 1100)
Free T: 85.3 ng/dL (Reference Range 35.0 - 155.0)
Prolactin: 5.5 ng/dL (Reference Range 2.0 - 18.0)

March (Same Reference Ranges):

Total T: 443 ng/dL
Free T: 102.8 ng/dL
Estradiol (Ultrasensitive): 26 pg/mL (Reference Range < OR = 29)
DHEA Sulfate: 345 mcg/dL (Reference Range 74 - 617)
FSH: 2.2 mlU/mL (Reference Range 1.4 - 12.8)
LH: 2.1 mlU/ml (Reference Range 1.5 - 9.3)
HCG, TOTAL, QN: <5 mlU/mL (Reference Range < 5)
