DBH dopamine > Norepinephrine issues

I'm well into my biohacking journey and uncovering potential new issues everyday (love my genes!).

I've come across this little beauty, DBH, which apparently facilitates the conversion of dopamine to norepinephrine?

I stumbled across this by trying PEA (Phenylethylamine) which had 0 effect other than making me crash an hour later.

Caffiene has the same effect on me (although not quite as bad) and I'm starting to believe that it is the conversion of dopamine to norepinephrine that is my main issue.

I believe I have ADHD and am on a referral list to the adult ADHD clinic, however this could take up to 5yrs in the UK and at 49, proceeded to try and biohack myself instead.

I also have impaired MTHR, COMT, MAOA, MAOB, TPH 1/2, TH, DRD 4/5 genes (so you can see my neurotransmitter pathways are pretty screwed - thx mom dad).

Given my impaired neurotransmitter synthesis, I find that 5htp and L-Dopa (Mucana Puriens) work really well for me.

However, there is just "something" missing, despite having greatly improved anxiety, depression and migraines (not one for 6 months since I started) - some days that "spark" just isn't there and I'm looking at this particular DBH gene as the likely culprit.

Does anyone have experience with this or advice?

I tried Elvanse/Vyvanse once and that seemed to light me up, I'd also seen some similar days on my methylation/choline/neurotransmitter supplements, but I'm thinking this dopamine>adrenaline conversion is the main problem.
