I am on 20mg of Lexapro and my doctor added 3 grams of NAC daily to try to help with my breakthrough OCD symptoms and compulsive behaviors. I have lost 70 pounds in the past year and honestly haven't been eating the most nutritious foods, I already have the Bio Vitamin Shoppe b complex that I take from time to time but I'm concerned about chelating out vital trace minerals over time. What would you recommend I add? I also have a history of iron deficiency anemia and my doc wants me to continue the iron supplements but I don't know how I should time that for best absorption in addition to my 3 grams of NAC daily(which I split up an hour before meals). I also am currently a heavy nicotine, caffeine and THC addict which I am hoping the NAC will help with. I take the NOW brands one gram NAC tablets and was thinking about maybe replacing one of the three doses with the NOW NAC that has molybdenum and selenium. Thank you for any advice.
