Can someone explain lens diameter?
Post Body
Iām new to buying binoculars (only bought a 8x40 pair for announcing games) but I thought that higher lens diameter meant higher field of view. I started questioning this when I saw 7x50 binoculars as cheaper than 7x35. I did some research and the higher lens diameter means it typically has less field of view? Iām even more confused now. Does less lens diameter mean higher fov? Thanks in advance.
