I’ve recently had my first job of announcing a few little league football games (38 tackled by 43 and whatnot). I was kinda thrown in the position and could barely see the numbers of the players when they were father away, mostly relying on the guy next to me to tell me who it was. The guy before me used binoculars and it encouraged me to buy some from academy (12x25). However, they’re probably meant for hunting rather than for sports since they seem to have too much zoom and not enough FOV for my situation. Any recommendations for a pair that won’t break the bank? For reference I was on the same ground level as the game next to the field so the farthest they would be is around 100 yards or so. Perhaps something with less zoom and more field of view and if possible maybe a decent eye relief since I sometimes wear glasses. Thanks in advance!
