Hi all! I'm starting a project where I want to create a sonic archive (audio recordings) of people who help the university (BU) function. This is not just the people who work in the university but also people outside - restaurant owners/servers, bus/can drivers, landlords/property managers, etc. - who have opportunities to interact with university folks. Interview questions mostly include the mundane - introduce yourself, how long have you been in Binghamton, what is the most interesting thing that's happened to you recently, what do you like/dislike about being in a "town and gown" locale, etc. The interview will be audio-recorded, but you're welcome to identify yourself as whatever name you choose as long as you're honest about the events you're narrating. DM me for more information. I appreciate any help with volunteering/leads!
