I have a binge eating disorder where I eat one very big meal at night right before bed. I do not eat during the day, hardly ever. I also have Night Eating Syndrome where I occasionally wake up and have to eat in the middle of the night in order to go back to sleep.
I have developed new digestive issues that are wreaking havoc on my life and am wondering if anyone else with this type of binge eating at night or similar has experienced them and has any advice.
Every morning, I am very nauseas, fatigued, and my intestines feel very upset - VERY upset. This lasts to an extreme degree for 3 - 4 hours. If I'm lucky, I poop and the expulsion of the poop, which is usually wet brings me some relief.
However, the nausea and intestinal hell continue throughout the entire day. I don't usually feel 'better' or 'normal' until 4pm - 8pm.
I'm trying to figure out how to get out of this digestive hell I'm living in and am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. The digestive issues seem to linger even if I eat 'normal' for a few days.
I am also very confused about why I am gaining so much weight if I'm only eating one large meal per day. But mostly curious about other people's digestive issues related to binge disorder.
Anyone?
