If I am in binge brain, I constantly want to eat until I’m full and as soon as there is some room in my stomach I’ll eat some more. I’ll wake up and crave food and automatically go eat some junk.
If I’m in the non binge brain, which I get into after a day or two forcing myself not to binge, I have barely any desire to eat out of mealtimes, I get full after a normal portioned meal, I let myself get hungry and it’s no big deal. I don’t crave anything. Until it gets ruined by either stress or not eating enough or just randomly, and I go back into the binge brain and stay there until I force myself not to binge again and enter the non binge state.
I really think there is something chemically different in my brain in these two states.
