Peragalbin (lyrica) with BED?

Heya! I have been having binge eating for 15 years now. I have a looot of health issues. Type 1 diabetes, PCOS, chronic neuropathic pain, hypothyroidism, borderline personality disorder... blabla.. Ive been on and off on medication, and my psychiatriast wants me to start lyrica. But as i read online, it actually causes weight gain. Isnt that contraproctive? Anyone has any success with it?
