I had a big box of ice cream bars in my freezer & I was going to binge the entire box. I planned on taking the whole box with me to the living room so I could eat them while I watched TV. However, I got the random idea not to bring the box with me to the living room & to only bring one ice cream bar with me to the living room at a time. If I wanted more after that one, I would have to get up & go get it.
I was interested to see how my mind would react to binge eating this way. Even though I ate most of the box, I stopped when there were 2 left. I garunteed would have eaten those two if I brought the entire box with me to the living room. I'm somewhat proud of myself. I never stopped myself from binging with such ease before.
I'm definitely going to be doing this in the future & I hope I can use this to stop a binge sooner & eat even less. I hope this helps someone out there.
