Cedar Lake Island is owned by the Land Trust and public access is normally limited. But if you are interested in learning a bit of local history they have announced an event that is open to the public on the afternoon of Saturday, April 27.

Historic Cedar Lake Island in Biloxi is the location for the Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain Annual Meeting. This family friendly event is free and open to the public.

Cedar Lake Island, the former community of Vennie, Mississippi, was once an industrial center housing one of the largest timber communities and mills along the coast. Please join us as we showcase the history and natural beauty of the island.
