This probably won’t be a popular post, but I feel it needs to be said.
I’ve been a fan of Bill’s since around 2018. Watched all his specials, binged F is for Family. And sought out some of his earlier stuff. Been listening to the podcast religiously for around 6 years now, but I feel I may made to take a step back from all of if unfortunately.
I just feel like that in the last 6-12 months Bill has just been having some really weird and almost silly takes on things. The main one that springs to mind is on a recent podcast he spoke about the Boston mayor controversy where she essentially had a ‘non-white’ party. I thought Bill would tear her a new one whilst making valid, rational points but he didn’t. His thinking was that because white people have add exclusionary parties in the past, that the Boston mayor isn’t wrong for having hers. What, Bill?! Surely it doesn’t help anyone by going tit for tat and having the mentality of ‘oh! Well they had parties where they didn’t invite other races, so we will do the same!’. To me that just seems counter productive.
I also don’t think he got the point as to why people were upset by this. He sort of seemed to mock white people because it seemed he thought they were upset they were not invited, when in reality people are upset cause of the double standard and you know, the racism.
Like I said, I know I’ll probably get a lot of flack for this post. But before you come at me, try to think of it logically. Surely it sets race relations back years when things like this happen no?
I’d also be interested to know what other people think.
You can’t compare the 55yr old LA millionaire pumpkin muff to the 35yr old ginger cunt from Boston. His view of the world has changed, and that’s fine. Dude’s almost 60 with a wife and kids.
