Bike repair question
Post Body

I just bought a new Louis garneau road bike with a Claris group set (shimano). I would say I am fairly competent with bikes and can do most things myself but I am lost on this.

My rear derailleur seems to be up shifting automatically when I pedal hard, and I donโ€™t mean skipping, but itโ€™s as if the actual shifter is giving slack when i pedal hard and there is tension on it. Has anyone encountered this? Is there a simple fix?

Thx
