Is the rule for over forking a bike the same for over stroking? (Obviously taking into account if the rear triangle won't hit any other parts of the frame, etc)
Post Body

I have a 2022 Santa Cruz Hightower Alloy frame and recently over forked vit to 170mm and it made it an incredible ride! It was still in the -20mm tolerance of the frame. I know that's kind of a generalized rule but is it the same for rear shock travel?
