Biting insects Hilo side question.
Post Body

Looking to move back to the islands in 2024, and eyeing the Big Island for a school district job. I like the more rural life, as I lived in Honolulu, and don't want all the noise, congestion, tourists and filth that comes with it. Was hoping to someday buy a small piece of land, put a house on it and live a nice casual life for the rest of my days.

But I don't want to be eaten by bugs every day. How bad are mosquitoes, ticks, horseflies and other biting insects on that side of the island?
