You know, the more I think on it, I think Monte's biggest flaw was really he didn't lock his relationships in and I think that was his detriment throughout the game.

He really only had strong relationships with Paloma, Kyle, and Joseph at the very beginning of the game as well as Pooch. Whereas Paloma self-evicted and through his own decisions of ratting out Oasis and bringing Nicole into the alliance he ended up sending out an ally that was better for his game overall.

And even then he didnt really lock in a Final 2 with Joseph, and Kyle he alienated through trying to change plans and get Alyssa out for no reason.

And that's pretty much it. He didnt have Turner until the endgame, he didnt have Taylor until the mid game and even that relationship he ruined unnecessarily at the beginning of the game.

The rest, he had no relationship with Alyssa, not really with Michael, nor Jasmine. He straight up alienated Brittany when he should have been able to lock her in against Turner cause she already disliked Turner. Terrance didnt feel that strongly about him.

I say this because I THINK, had he locked in more relationships, he would have had more options and he maybe would have a better idea about what this jury wanted and whom he could take to Final 2..

Taylor locked in every relationship, while Monte really only had half relationships with Joseph, Kyle, and Turner.
