The first time the Triple Eviction was introduced, it led to one of the most emotional and devastating eviction result of Sarah accidentally voting out Willow. It was very tragic because Willow was heartbroken and in one of the best positions in the house. I think the concept of the Triple Eviction is good on paper, but it’s executed very poorly.
The biggest issue with the Triple Eviction is having the HOH winner eliminate two houseguests instead of one. I think a possible solution to fix this unbalanced twist is to have the HOH winner be ineligible for the next two HOH competitions since they had the power for two of their targets to leave in the same night. Before the Triple Eviction is revealed, Arisa should tell the houseguests whoever wins HOH won’t be able to compete in the next HOHs.
Another issue with the Triple Eviction is the poor timing, which leads to a rushed endgame. I believe BBCAN3 had the best timing for the Triple Eviction as it only resulted in the final 7, instead of the Final 5 like BBCAN5, BBCAN6, and BBCAN10. BBCAN6 suffered the most from the timing as the alliance between Ali, Liv, and Johnny all left in the same night and gave basically no opposition for Kaela and Derek to steamroll to the end. At most, the Triple Eviction should be done before Week 8.
All in all, it’s another BBCAN twist that is good in theory, but the execution ruins it. I’m curious to know what others think about the Triple Eviction.
