Because I'm a newer fan, I had no exposure to Kaysar and very little to Janelle before this current season. I fell in love with them in their short time in the house, though.
So, I decided to go back and watch Big Brother Season 6, which is really interesting because of how different it is.
In episodes 4 through 6, Kaysar's longtime friend Michael is on the Block in part because he was being accused of harassing other women and wasn't taking that accusation seriously. Later, Michael is pretty rude to a woman (not one of the accusers) in a hallway flyby, which eventually starts a fight between him and the head of household and between Kaysar and that woman. Big brother actually intervenes during the fight and makes everyone separate. (That was also interesting to me, because it seems like they were much more free with letting the show audience see production in Big Brother 6. You even see crew a couple of times. But, I digress.)
I'm curious from some of the folks who were watching the live feeds at the time whether Michael really was being as immature and slimy as he was painted to be in the episode edit. It was hard to tell how much was real and how much was people just wanting to get rid of him.
Part of the reason I'm wondering is that it's hard to believe that Kaysar's long time friend would be so much of a jerk unless maybe it's just one of these things where they were friends when they were younger and are very different people now/then. (I was impressed that Kaysar recognized that Michael was becoming a liability, despite being his ally)
