I remember one season of BB Canada, they had a poll on which of the these three potential houseguests would you want in the house. And that got me thinking, why doesn't BB US do that? I feel like it'll be way more interesting than a juror to come back, who will most likely be evicted ASAP.
They can reveal the pool of 3-5 people the first week of big brother with their interviews, casting pics, etc etc. Have America vote who they want in the game, and have them enter week 3. Week 3 is ideal because it's not too late where alliances are established/solidified and there's bond to be an outsider group in need of an extra person, but it's also not too early where it was a pointless twist.
A cool idea I thought of was if these 3-5 people are loosely connected to one of the houseguests (co-worker, a friend of a friend, intramural soccer teammate, NOT something like an ex, family member, etc.) and if they are selected to enter the house, they are given an OPTIONAL task of trying to get that person they know who is already in the house evicted before jury either by being the HOH that sends the person home OR by being in the majority vote to evict the person. Doing so grants him/her the Diamond POV.
