Good day,
As someone who’s been enthralled with fossils since a child, I’ve finally decided to live a dream of actually collecting them myself.
Big Brook is the first place that has really caught my attention as I research places in the garden state to visit.
I’ve been rockhounding for a year or two now but have been chomping at the bit to look for fossils after one day discovering clay pits in Sayreville that you could find Amber in.
So I am here respectfully asking for any help, advice & tips for this area. I am especially hoping to get some suggestions where to go. Any info on where to park, good areas to look & hopefully not too crowded.
I really appreciate any and all help as I’m very excited to start this adventure.
Thank you.
