I was overhearing some people at the café stop talking about having something called “fun” when riding. It seems like they were all laughing and smiling and really recommending whatever this gel or nutrition bar is. On the cycle back I was pushing Z4 for 2 hours and averaging 300W (no one is able keep up with me so I have to ride by myself as I am in the top 1% of all segments in my area) and when I got home I tried to google it but couldn’t find anything.
I am just about to have a nutritionally balanced recovery meal, 8 hours of sleep, and then a 2 hour Z2 recovery ride at 5am to clear the lactate out of my legs before I start the week, and I’d really like to find out how to get some fun. I would ask my wife to look into it but has kindly offered to take the kids to her friends for the week to help me focus on my training. She even told me not to call as she knows that I’m so busy.
