I used to be very into homesteading/ self-reliance, but eventually my pursuit of the arts took precedence, and I don't find myself gravitating towards it much anymore. Having said that, I can most definitely see myself with a homesteading-ish setup. I have a great deal of experience with it at this point (minus the animals) and I even own a little piece of land out west. I'd love to tell you about it.
